These two pictures just kinda sum up Z. She is our little mischievious one. Grandma had the girls come over to take some pictures and this was towards the end of picture taking. (Of course she didn't know the camera was getting her.) Z just does her own thing whether it could get her in trouble or not. A little while ago, she managed to cut mom's hair and kill the fish all in one day.
She had the brush and was brushing my hair when she said, "I'm gonna go get a clippie." (Which is a barrett at our house.) I was holding the baby and not paying attention to what Z came back with till I heard a SNIP! I look back and Z's got the scissors and some of my hair!! I cried for an hour. (If you hadn't seen me in a while, my hair was QUITE long, I had to get layers put in.) Later that day, I saw Z in her bedroom up on a chair with the fish net in hand. I went to the tank and looked for the fish. Of course it was not there. I kept asking what she had done with it and she kept saying, "Nothing mama." She was so adament that she didnt do anything I started to believe her, even though I didn't see how the fish could just vanish. When Bry came home he found the fish on the floor. We had that fish for the longest time. It was a survivor till Z came along. (To be honest, I'm surprised she hadn't gotten to it sooner.) Z can be quite the little trouble maker, but I guess that's what makes her her and we have to cherish the memories she creates.

Corn Maze
Our daughter has been begging to go to Pumpkinland so we went the other day to let the girls play a bit. I am always surprised at how big it is. They have a corn maze, bouncing things, a little walk with lights, and play areas. I'm a little bummed I didn't get pics with all the pumkins. The girls loved it and they both got to pick their own pumkin at the end.

First Day of Kindergarten AGAIN!
I meant to post this a while ago, but never got the pics up. I signed P up on a waiting list for a charter school like last year and about a week into school they called me and said a spot had opened up so I immediately took it. P loves it and I really love it so it's worked out great! Thanks again Angie for the clothes.

Check this out!!
Okay so abc did a remake of one of my favorite tv shows when I was younger. I must have seen every episode like 3 times and I even checked it out from the video store to watch. I loved this show and the new one looks awesome!

Donuts Anyone?
There's a new donut place in Draper that Bryant has actually driven a couple times to just to get the donuts. It's called Beyond Glaze. Now I know my husband is a big donut fan, but I thought this was a little ridiculous til he brought some home. I must say, YUMMY! (Especially the Mango Raspberry!)

Kindergarten Frustrations
Not that having P going to Kindergarten is fustrating or anything. I love it, she loves it, we just had a little bit of a rough start.
Last week she went in to her 30 minute test with her teacher to see where she's at. I was allowed in the room, but in the back to fill out papers and stuff. It was kindof an eye opener to see how she was with someone else where I couldn't help her or discipline her. I got so fustrated. The teacher only had 30 minutes to go over everything so she didn't have time to wait for Pto figure out stuff like I would have done so P kept saying, "I don't know," to so many things that I knew she knew. But the thing I was most fustrated about was her attention. P was in and out of her chair, always looking around the room, and at one point was lying on top of the table. I just got fustrated that I couldn't do or say anything. So then in the car on the way to pick up Z from Grandma's, I tried to go over some of the stuff that she said she didn't know and got even more frustrated because she wasn't really listening to me. I even pulled the car over to get her to pay attention. I got way too worked up because then P said, "Mom, can you not tell Grandma that I didn't pay attention to my teacher." I felt so bad I started crying. I totally should have realized I was making her feel bad. Then I told her that she did a good job (which she really did) and said to tell Grandma that.
I signed P up for a school on the other side of town because I had heard it was really good and I was skeptical about her going to the schools by us. My friend also lives right by it and I go over there often enough that it wouldn't be a big deal. So I'd been telling P that I would drop her off at the school every day and then pick her up at my friend's house because the cars at the school are awful to try to get through. (She's in afternoon so dropping off is much easier.) Anyway, I told her that I would walk her to my friend's house the first few days so she could figure it out on her own so she needed to wait for me at the school. Well, she must have got the wrong idea. I waited outside the doors that she normally goes through to get to her class and she never came out. I waited till there was practically no kids at school left. By this time I was starting to get worried and a little teary eyed. I went to the office and told the lady that my daughter had just started Kindergarten and I couldn't find her anywhere. So the VERY smart lady at the desk asked for her name and annouced on the intercom for P to come to the office. Helllooo!! She's 5 years old and has only been to the school a few times! I told her that she would have no clue where to go so then she called for the teacher. When the teacher didn't come I got antsy and went out to look for her again. By this time I was crying. I looked around the whole school and found her teacher who was waiting with another girl who's mom hadn't come yet. I asked if she knew what had happened to P and then she got worried and went to go check the classroom. I started walking back to the office when my friend's kids ran up to me to tell me that P had walked to their house. I was so relieved! The teacher had brought the class out a different door than I was used to and P just walked to my friend's where she thought she was supposed to go and I must have just not seen her go past me. Anyway, (sorry this is getting long), the next day I told her that I wanted to walk with her so she knew to cross at the crosswalk and stuff and she said okay. So I dressed her in a bright green flowery shirt and thought for sure I'd be able to pick her out of the crowd. When the kids started coming out EVERYONE was wearing bright green. I had forgotten that Friday was Go Green day and the school shirts were bright green. Uggh! But I did find her and of course she had already started walking down the sidewalk to my friends house when I caught up to her. From then on I just waited at my friend's house because, obviously, she knew where to go and it really is just across the street almost.
So there, I'm done. P loves school and I'm just a mom that gets way too worked up about things.

24th of July
Uncle T's family came in town for a couple of weeks and their last day we celebrated the 24th of July at Grandma Bailey's house. We ate, then went to the park and played baseball, then went back and watched fireworks that had been at Grandma's house for a couple of years. It's amazing how long they last. They were great and there was tons of them!

Painting Ideas?
I need help figuring out what to do with the baby's room. I want to paint, but I want something creative. The crib set is black, white, and pink. There's no general theme, just colors. Any ideas?

Arizona
We went down to Arizona a few weeks ago to spend some time with family, for Baby D's blessing and for my mom's birthday. The girls and I went down first and Bry came down before the blessing. It was fun, lots of swimming and playing! We went down and met my parents in St. George for my dad's race first. (He was in the St. George tri and only does olympic now. He's awesome!!) Anyway, then we followed my parents down to Mesa and stayed with my sister for a few days, and then stayed with my brother for a couple days. While we were down there, my dad took some nice family pics at the temple.

Guess What!!

Baby Girl Comments - Myspace Comments
Myspace Layouts - Host Images
Yes, that's right, we're going to have another ballerina-fairy-princess in the family. We are so excited! We are a little disappointed to not be getting a superhero-pirate-baller, but I do love the bows and flowers so it'll be fun. Bryant is determined to make at least one of our kids a hunter/fisherman whether they be boy or girl so I guess no biggie. I've seen enough girl baby ultrasounds now I new right away before the technician said anything that it was a girl. I didn't really have a thought either way before what it was going to be. I kindof thought it might be a girl, because everything's been the same for me on all of them, but I've always been wrong so I didn't even really try to guess.
Anyway, there it is, happy day for us!

Easter!
For Easter I made the girls some hats and matching purses to go with the dresses that Grandma Jorgensen sent. I couldn't find the exact color of flower that I needed so I spray painted them, but then they were so stiff. Oh well, still turned out okay.

Crazy Hair Day
It was crazy hair day at the dentist office for the girls. I had to do something crazy, but still let them lay back to get their teeth checked.

Valentine's & Zoee's Birthday
Zoee one day, out of the blue, started crying and we couldn't figure out what she was crying about. She finally said she wanted to go bowling. It was the funniest thing. So we told her we could go bowling for her birthday and that calmed her down. Well, her birthday just happened to be the Sunday after Valentine's so we went on Valentine's. There was a lot of people there, but we had tons of fun!

Christmas
This Christmas was amazing. Someone decided to help us out this year and be a Secret Santa. A few days before Christmas we came home to find two big grocery bags on our counter. One bag had all the food for a Christmas Eve ham dinner, and the other bag had a ton of things to fill stockings with. The next day we found money in our mailbox, and Christmas Eve they came and dropped off lots of presents and filled stockings. I think the girls had the best Christmas they've ever had!
THANKS SECRET SANTA!
Here are some pics of this Christmas season.
