Filling Trauma

Last week Pyper and I were in the kitchen and Pyper was eating an apple when she says, "Mom, I'm eating a seed." I thought that was weird since I know I cut out all the seeds. I then heard something hard in her mouth when she chewed. I told her to spit it out. It looked like a piece of tooth so I started freaking out and had her open her mouth and I looked at her back teeth. I didn't see anything, especially since most of her back teeth are silver anyways. I thought maybe just something from the apple, but then Pyper was like, "What about this?" And she pointed to her front teeth. Sure enough there was a hole in-between her two front teeth. I immediately called the dentist and made an appointed for a chipped tooth. The dentist looked at the x-rays and said the filling had fallen out. I had completely forgotten she had a filling there. It has been less than a year since she had her teeth fixed.

Anyway, so we had to make another appointment to get it refilled because Pyper has to be put out, since she would kick and scream otherwise. On Monday we went in and they try to distract her from the shot by letting her pick out some toys, but she knew what was coming. I hate the anesthesia so much, because one minute she's screaming and freaking out, and the next she's like lifeless with her eyes open. I have to try to not watch her face, because it makes me so sad. When it's all done she is still quite out of it for a while. She doesn't know what's wrong with her and she talks in jibberish and starts flaling around. It pretty much took the whole day for her to come completely out. Even then the shot was so traumatic she wouldn't take her coat off. She wore it to bed, and then screamed when I needed to get her dressed the next morning. I had to just grab her and rip it off to show that her shot wouldn't hurt. :(

Coloring eggs!

We took our eggs and coloring stuff over to Grandma Bailey's house. It was hard to keep Zoee's fingers out of the coloring, but once she took one taste of the vinegar, that was enough. She was even hesitant to drink some water out of a glass later, for fear it would taste like vinegar.

"It's like a playground"

Grandma Jorgensen got the girls this jungle gym thing for Christmas and Pyper has been asking dad forever to put it up. It's been too cold till now. They love it! It's the perfect height. Zoee can't climb up it yet, but she can hang. I don't worry about them falling. It's too low to cause any harm. Pyper says it's like a playground in the backyard. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!

It Sold!!

Yay! The album Jessica and I were working on sold! I was pretty sure it would sell, (it had like 13 watchers,) but when there were no bids till the last minute of the auction I was a little worried. This gives me some sort of hope. I have been scrapbooking all week to post on ebay. Sometimes I think the amount of time I put into it isn't worth the money I get back, but I actually really like it, and I'm learning alot how to embellish pages. I'm also getting faster. Even if my items don't sell, I would keep everything for myself and it's way fun.

On a sad note, sign ups for the expo were yesterday and I didn't get in AGAIN! Everyone seems to be faster than me. Heather and Carrie got in again, but not me. I don't know how I can be so slow at entering my info. The same thing happened last time we went (everyone got in but me,) but they opened up 50 more spots so I was still able to go. I got on a waiting list, however, so I'm thinking positively and I'm sure I'll get in.

Here are some pics of the album we worked on:

A visit from Jessica

Jessica came and visited us for a whole week! The girls were so excited to see her and play with their cousin Kiara. Our deal was that Jessica had to help make a scrapbook to sell on ebay to help pay for her ticket. So we spent most of the time doing that, but here's some pics of the other fun we had.

Zoee's 2nd Birthday

Zoee's birthday is the day after Valentine's so we used the same Valentine's cake as her birthday cake. She couldn't care less, as long as she gets cake!

Valentine's Day

Bryant was in Indianapolis for Valentines so it was just the girls and I. I had told Pyper that we could make a cake for Valentines and she never forgets, so all day she asked if we could make it. It was a Red Velvet Cake, (even though I just put one bottle of food coloring; two is alot, it still came out very red and pretty.) It was very thick cake so we all just shared one piece.
