A visit from Jessica

Jessica came and visited us for a whole week! The girls were so excited to see her and play with their cousin Kiara. Our deal was that Jessica had to help make a scrapbook to sell on ebay to help pay for her ticket. So we spent most of the time doing that, but here's some pics of the other fun we had.

Zoee's 2nd Birthday

Zoee's birthday is the day after Valentine's so we used the same Valentine's cake as her birthday cake. She couldn't care less, as long as she gets cake!

Valentine's Day

Bryant was in Indianapolis for Valentines so it was just the girls and I. I had told Pyper that we could make a cake for Valentines and she never forgets, so all day she asked if we could make it. It was a Red Velvet Cake, (even though I just put one bottle of food coloring; two is alot, it still came out very red and pretty.) It was very thick cake so we all just shared one piece.

My Favorite Time of Day!

I love this time of day. When both the girls are down for a nap and I can just relax or get whatever done that I need to. It's nice when they go to bed at night too, but usually by then I'm too exhausted to get anything done. This only happens on Tuesdays and Thursdays because Pyper has school on those days. I tried to get her down for a nap other days, but she doesn't quite go down as easy and it turns out to be too much work. So our deal is that after school we eat lunch and everyone goes down for a nap. It works much better that way. Sometimes I still have to bribe her to go down. Like today, for instance, I told her that we could make a sledding hill in the backyard, but only after her nap. She went down really easy!

Christmas!

The holidays are over, yay!! The girls are sad, but they understand that we can only have Christmas once a year. Pyper has this movie called "Elmo Saves Christmas." In it, Elmo is granted a wish that they could have Christmas every day. Everyone starts getting really sick of Christmas by the end, but it helps to show that we can only have Christmas once a year, not every day.

Pyper got all the fairies she wanted and Zoee got a new baby. They also got new snow clothes so that day we went out and played in the snow.

It was really fun to have Grandma and Grandpa Jorgensen come and stay with us and bring us a big car. It's always more enjoyable when family is around, especially family that we don't get to see very often.

On the Sunday before Christmas we went to Jorgen's house for our Bailey party. We had pizza and lots of snacks and goodies. We also, besides opening presents, spent much of the time downstairs playing "Rock Band." (I think that's what it's called.) LOTS OF FUN!

On Christmas Eve we had both Grandmas and Grandpas over for our annual Holiday ham dinner. It's a good thing our families get along so we could do that. It was yummy yummy! Then when Grandma and Grandpa Bailey left we decorated a gingerbread house. Boy was that an experience! When the rest of us gave up and decided we were done, Grandma decided to fix and finish it, (or so she thought.) We called what happened to it Hurricane Susan! Then the girls opened their pjs and went to bed.

On Christmas, after playing in the snow for a bit and eating Grandma's yummy scones, we went to see "The Golden Compass." The girls were pretty good as soon as Zoee fell asleep. Then we drove around and saw some cool Christmas lights. By the end of the day everyone was pooped!

SNOW! SNOW! SNOW!

As many of you know we have had a TON of snow this year. Here's some pics of some of the fun we've had.

Flying Pros

After flying back and forth to Arizona several times, the girls are getting to be pros at being on an airplane. They still get restless towards the end of the flight, but they know what to expect. Mom and dad are getting better at getting through security quickly. It's a little difficult when we can't keep Zoee in a stroller and we all have to go through separately, but nothing we can't handle. This is a picture of the girls as we are landing back in Salt Lake from Yuma. We had to drive around a bit because there was another plane in our gate.
