I'm still trying to do some catch up posts if you haven't noticed.
A few weeks ago we decided to go camping so Grandpa drove down to Payson Lakes to find a spot. Since it was Friday and it was so late in the day, there were not spots left, but he drove up a little further and found a place that just does group camping. I think it's mainly for horses and you have to reserve all three spots in that site. The guy at the booth told him he could have them for $45, (normally $75 I think.) So he paid for them and then a little while later a family came by and asked if he could pay to use one of the sites, so Grandpa got some of his money back. Anyway, so we ended up getting a really good deal, because the sites were way nice. It was our family, Grandpa, Brookie, and Jorgen's boys. It was mainly nice to just get away, sit by a fire, and do all those camping things. Unfortunately, our tent was not exactly on flat ground and we couldn't get a mattress pumped up, so we didn't get any sleep. Still lots of fun!

Swim Lessons
A few weeks ago we had swim lessons. I usually try to get a couple in the summer, but I figured since we go swimming often enough, it wouldn't matter two much if we only went once this year. Pyper was in preschool 2 and graduated to preschool 3, and Zoee and I were in the Parent tot class. Zoee doesn't seem to like the water as much as Pyper did when she was that age, but she'll get over it. I think we took Pyper swimming more, so we just need to go more often.

4TH OF JULY**
So the 4th never seems to go exactly as planned, but oh well, right? We actually didn't have much planned this year. Bry and I had the race in the morning, (which we both ended up having issues with,) then to grandma's house for food and fun.
Since it was supposed to be a VERY hot day, grandma set up her pool and we brought our water slide. It turned out that the sun was covered the whole time we were out. Even though the slide was pretty old, we did a few make-shifts and it turned out to be a hit! Aunt Brookie joined the fun with us. After playing some games like "Ring Around the Rosies" and "I Had a Baby Turtle" in the pool we were done; the girls were getting pretty cold.
Bry and I had bought some fireworks right before, so we did some of those, (even though the girls aren't big fans of fireworks. The always hide their faces or run away.) Then we decided we were tired and went home. So not too eventful, but still lots of fun!

Fun Day

About a couple weeks ago we had a really fun day. Bry went fishing in the morning while I went to Savers and got some disco stuff for skating. Then we took the girls to the new kid-friendly restauraunt Mac & Cheese. The girls loved it. Pyper kept saying the whole time that it was the coolest place. They have toys to play with and the tables all had gameboards where you could get the pieces to at the desk. I thought it was funny that they would substitute any meal the kids ordered for a PB&J sandwich if they didn't like what they got. Bry wore the wig I got him and the guy working there had no idea! It was funny.
That night we got a babysitter and went disco skating with Mark and Kelli for Kelli's birthday. We busted some major disco moves!

Another Race Day!
Okay so I'm trying to start not naming places, so if you don't know which race this is, it's the green slimy lake by my house. Even though the lake is not so fun to swim in, it's a good race. M
ostly flat! They did change the course a bit, though, since I did it two years ago. The run was half shaded last time; I don't remember any shade this time, and there was a patch of dirt on the bike and some rock road on the run. So not as easy as I remember. The rock road was the worst. It's like running in sand, but if you were to fall it would hurt a lot more.
I was the second girl
I ended up 5th in my category. Wahoo!!!
